Why choose KTN CP products?

Kilo Two Niner Concealment products LTD is owned by myself (Kilo Two Niner), I have been playing airosft for around 10 years and have played in pretty much every roll, assault, CQB, marksman, support, and mainly for the last 5 years as a sniper. Through my experience I have used and put to the test many different types and brands of kit and when it comes to sniping (which is by far my favourite). With the concealment products that are currently available, I have found many problems, issues, annoyances or bits that have just left me wanting more or thinking this can surely be fixed...
Some of the problems are as follows:
- Full suit (jacket and trousers), good because its a full suit however, if you put the jacket over your plate carrier/chest rig, you can't access it/can only access through small pockets so cant actually see it, or you have to leave your jacket open. Which then means it would be best to have your plate carrier/chest rig on top of the jacket, with this you'll have to buy more crafting materials to craft your plate carrier/chest rig. Which in my opinion then leaves you to purchase not only another suit (for winter or summer depending on what you had first) but also another plate carrier/chest rig to then craft again as taking all the crafting material off your current one would just be a huge pain.
- To fix the above issue there are Capes available, which is my preference of choice, these are open at the front and allow full access to your plate carrier/chest rig and allow you to wear it under your cape so no need for loads of crafting. However no company (other than Novritsch, which in my opinion the cheap suit is cheap for a reason and the modular one has big problems as well) don't sell trousers separately to the jacket, therefore you'll have to purchase a full suit, and then a cape to have what you prefer which is a waste of money and you'll also more than likely be stuck with the jacket because if someone wants a jacket they'll also want the trousers.
- As well as the above points there is an issue I have found which is less common but I think coming more into play. Rules on Concealment suits depending on what weapon system you are using. for example, some sites allow a full suit if you use a bolt action, if you are using a DMR you are limited to a cape (some companies like AI500 or BritTac also say snipers cant wear trousers as the teams are based off uniform colors), and if got something that is full auto capable you are limited to a cobra hood style shoulder piece. If you are someone like me that doesn't just stick to the role of a sniper, buying a suit, cape and then shoulder piece can be very expensive, even more so when having to purchase more crafting materials and invest more time to craft more and more items.
- While we are talking about prices and things becoming more and more expensive, lets look at examples...
KMCS - suit, cape, cobra = £512.99
Stalker - suit, cape, cobra = £383.93/331.89 (color dependant)
Novritsch - modular suit/cheap suit = £216.31/132.91
Mim&Tech - suit = £254.95 (granted 2 colors in 1 however material, lack of 3d leaves and uncomfortableness of crafting both sides and then wearing is an issue for me personally).
Plus at least double in crafting materials on top as you are basically crafting more than one suit, plus the time to craft more than one suit.
There is also SCG that make "custom" hoods, capes and suits. But these are a hell of a lot more expensive (a "full" suit which is all open at the front so is only good for laying prone in my opinion) is over £1000! Understandably the cost is coming from their time doing the crafting, however it is my opinion that crafting your own suit so it suits your environments is 100% the way to go, and saves you a lot of money for a couple of hours work.
- Camo colors, I have found problems with the currently available colors, I do understand that getting colors to match each environment exactly is basically impossible, however it seems most companies camo colors are either green or brown, in full, none that are a mix (other than Mim & Tech, which I do like their colors very much, and Novritsch has their Kreuzotter pattern however like above I really don't like their suit designs). With living in the UK I have found at most sites they do always have a mix of greens and browns all year round, especially at places like Anzio, where there are vibrant green bushes around the edges and then browner drier areas close to the floor and around buildings. A mix of green and browns on one suit would suit places like this a lot more in my opinion.
- Materials, obviously different companies choose different materials to make their products out of. Usually the more expensive something is you find the better the quality, however the most expensive material isn't always the best just like the cheapest material can sometimes have benefits that are better than the most expensive. With this I have found pros and cons between the different types of material used by other companies, strength is obviously one of the main pros because we want what we purchase to last, however that usually comes at a cost of weight. Another is material that doesn't allow a lot of airflow, this isn't so bad in the winter, however in the summer this can be murder, especially if you are like me that even as a sniper, likes to get moving and running about the place. Another one that has come into play more recently is the use of night vision, different material have different IRR properties and if the material has bad IRR properties it can make you light up like a Christmas tree under night vision devices.
There are more issues that I have come across but I wont drag on any longer, if you would like to know I'm happy to reply to any messages through Instagram or in person if we meet at a game day.
However, it is because of the above issues and more that I took it upon myself to try and create a brand new suit system that will fill those gaps and correct those issues I have found. Because if I have found those issues, I'm sure others will have too.
Therefore I present to you all the KTN ACS (Adaptive Concealment System), this is a suit that gives you all what you need in one package, whilst allowing you access to all your essentials easily and quickly.
A full suit, a cape, a shoulder piece with a detachable hood to fit whatever roll you are or whatever situation you are in. Sniping in the morning, full suit. Want to use an assault rifle in the afternoon, Shoulder piece. Someone hands you a DMR, attach the cape and you're off. And at £239.99, you clearly save money against other currently available products, and have everything you could need all in one package. These sections are attached via heavy duty press studs. The press studs I have chosen are strong enough that they wont come undone when caught or tugged slightly, but are also not going to stay attached if caught on something like a tree stump etc that you haven't noticed, go to walk away and they stay connected resulting in tearing the mesh material or pulling the press studs out from the suit. As I think everyone would rather take a couple of seconds to ask a friend or fellow player to reconnect the studs rather than have them brake and have to do some restitching when home.
I have added some extra material on the elbow and knee areas to reinforce those parts then get the most abuse. Also provides a little bit more comfort when resting on your elbows or knees too. And the sleeves are extended so they cover the tops or your hands down to the knuckles.
Also when it comes to crafting, you still only have one suit to craft, so even more savings. And as it comes apart into different pieces, it's also a lot easier to work with.
My "Mainland" camo pattern is also designed to be a 50/50ish mix of greens and browns, therefore should be able to blend into most environments easily, and not just have to stick to the more green or the brown areas. If you do want more green, craft over the brown, if want more brown, craft over the green. SIMPLE!
I also have my "Wasteland" camo pattern which is for the more brown areas/winter time.
Not only does my ACS go from a full suit down to a shoulder piece and back, but the colors are interchangeable. Meaning if you have both the Mainland and the Wasteland and your environment is very brown up to elbow ish hight, you can wear the Wasteland trousers, have a Wasteland front panel and cape, but then have a Mainland shoulder piece and hood.
I do have a couple of other camo patterns in the works which will be more season/environment specific so please do keep an eye out!
The material I have chosen to use is a very strong and durable mesh, strength test to follow against other currently available suits but I do believe my mesh is the strongest to be used on these types of suits. I have also gone for a mesh that has slightly larger holes than others, this is to make it easier for crafting and to allow better airflow to keep you cool during the summer, it is a trade off in the winter obviously but we can always stick another thermal layer on underneath if we want to. The mesh is also slightly thicker than other materials used by the more popular brands currently, this is to counter having the larger gaps in the mesh so that it still gives you protection against thermal devices, keeping your heat signature hidden more than it would if was using a thinner material where your body heat would soak into the thinner material faster. My mesh has decent IRR properties when compared to others, so even against night vision device users you can still remain hidden from their sight. Even more so when you start crafting on top of the suit. Especially with natural materials.
Every product in KTN CP is designed to work alongside/with each other, as you will see with the ACS and my future products that I have planned.
So in summary, I have started KTN CP and designed my products such as the ACS to provide concealment products that will save you money, time, and also fix the problems that currently available suits and other products have. On top of this, I work a full time job anyway, I am doing this in my own free time and the small profits made from sales will go straight back into KTN CP, and provide funds for me to carry on bringing you brand new and exciting products that fix the issues that I and many others have found, or simply bring something new to the table. I have several other designs and ideas that I can not wait to get started on and bring to you all, so the sooner my products sell, the sooner you all get new and exciting ones!
Thankyou for reading this, I appreciate all of your support and I hope you enjoy my designs and products, and that they do indeed fix the problems that are out there.
Kilo.
